This is one of our favorite packages as it offers you the opportunity of visiting Athens, the most important historical sites of Mainland Greece and the most spectacular Greek islands.
If you’re after a holiday full of culture, this travel package is probably one of the best choices: you literally can't go far without coming across something ancient in Greece!
Redolent with history and mythology, Athens is an affable city enlivened by bustling outdoor cafes, pedestrian streets that wind through the city's ancient sites and its fair share of urban eccentrics. If you get into the Athenian mindset, you'll enjoy one of the most laid-back and quirky European cities, and at the same time you will get a taste of the nightlife Mykonos is so famous for, enjoy wonderful views of the Caldera on Santorini and take in the sights on Crete!

Itinerary

Day 1
Upon arrival private transfer has been arranged for you to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Athens.

Day 3
The entire day free to spend as you like.
We suggest visiting the National Archaeological Museum. Overnight in Athens.
|
Day 4
Leave in the morning and drive to the Corinth Canal. After a short stop drive on to Epidaurus and visit the ancient theatre famous for its outstanding acoustics.
Then onwards to Nafplion for a short visit and continue through the plain of Argos to Mycenae. Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. In the afternoon depart for Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. Overnight in Olympia.

Day 5
In the morning visit the archaeological site of Olympia with the temples of Zeus and Hera, the Stadium and the archaeological museum. Then depart for Delphi, driving though the plains of the provinces of Ilia and Achaia, cross the Corinthian Bay over the new bridge from Rio to Antirio and continue along the coastal road passing by the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos and Itea. Overnight in Delphi.

Day 6
In the morning visit the archaeological site and museum of Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Via Central Greece drive to Kalambaka, a small town located at the foot of majestic rocks and crowned by the Meteora monasteries. Overnight in Kalambaka.

Day 7
Leave in the morning for a visit of Meteora. Among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks stand ageless monasteries with exquisite treasures of Byzantine art. Return to Athens passing by the monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae. Arrival in Athens is expected late afternoon. Overnight in Athens.

Day 8
Private transfer to the port for embarkation to Mykonos. Arrival in Mykonos. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 9
Stay in Mykonos on Bed and Breakfast basis.

Day 10
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the port for embarkation to Santorini. Arrival in Santorini. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 11 - 12
Stay in Santorini on Bed and Breakfast basis.

Day 13
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the port for embarkation to Heraklion, Crete. Upon arrival in Heraklion pick up your car and drive to the hotel. Overnight.

Stay in Heraklion on Bed and Breakfast basis.

Day 15
After breakfast drive to Chania. Overnight in Chania.

Day 16
Stay in Chania on Bed and Breakfast basis.

Day 17
Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to the airport of Chania for your flight back to Athens.
